Before requesting an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth looking at our self-referrals page to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.
How to Request an Appointment
You can request an appointment in the following ways:
Routine appointments with the GPs may be booked up to a maximum of six weeks ahead. You may state your preferred doctor of choice although this may depend upon availability. Appointments can be booked online, you will need to register to use this service.
If you feel it is necessary for you to see a health professional within 48 hours please advise the receptionist. You will be offered an appointment with the duty doctor or the practice nurse.
Telephone appointments are also available for consultations with a GP or practice nurse if you feel your problem can be dealt with without a visit to the surgery.
Nurse appointments can be booked up to three months ahead. These are not available to book online due to the differing duration times required for various procedures. Please complete our appointment request form.
MJOG text reminder service
(Please ensure that we have current mobile number). Depending on how far in advance you have booked your appointment, you will receive a text message 1 week and then again 1 day before your appointment. This will offer the you opportunity to cancel the appointment should you no longer need to be seen.
This service has significantly reduced the number of appointment that are not attended. We hope you find it useful.
